Safety for our children
Collecting Your Child From School
Please make sure you ring us or let us know in writing of any changes regarding who will be collecting your child from school. If we do not recognise the person arriving to collect and we have not been informed, then we will not release your child to their care. You must notify the school in writing if a parent/carer is no longer allowed to collect your child from school.
Drivers should abide by the law and not park on the zebra crossing or the zigzag lines. Parents/carers should not bring their cars into the school car park or roadway at any time. This is especially hazardous at the beginning and end of the school day as the roadway and school entrance are full of parents and children who are walking.
Please do not cycle bikes or scooters across the playground when collecting children. Dogs are not permitted on the premises, nor should they be tied to the school fences.
If you need to collect your child during the school day, please ensure that the class teacher and school office have had prior notice and are informed.
SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED ON SCHOOL PREMISES.
